Rebellion is gearing up to launch their first virtual reality installment of the Zombie Army series. Next month, fans can dive into the excitement across all major VR platforms.
Scheduled for release on May 22nd, Zombie Army VR will be available for Quest 2 and up, PSVR 2, and SteamVR headsets. This exciting addition invites players to join the elite Deadhunters squad, ready to put an end to the zombie apocalypse once and for all.
Players will battle through waves of the undead near the devastated city of Nuremberg. As part of a gripping mission, you’ll assist Captain Hermann Wolff, the esteemed leader of the Deadhunters, in locating his missing family members while striving to reclaim Europe from the clutches of the zombie uprising.
This game promises a thrilling, story-driven adventure that can be tackled solo or with a partner in two-player co-op mode. Expect to wield an array of authentic World War II weaponry including sniper rifles, submachine guns, and pistols—with the added thrill of dual-wielding and manual racking.
Leveling up your Deadhunter is another key aspect, as players collect XP and use Weapon Upgrade kits to enhance their firearms’ range, accuracy, scope, and capacity. Get ready to face not just ordinary Nazi zombies, but formidable foes like Armored Giants, Suiciders, and Sniper Zombies. Fans of Rebellion’s Sniper Elite VR will also enjoy the return of the X-ray Kill Cam, providing a cinematic touch by showcasing slow-motion kill sequences.
Eager players can now pre-order Zombie Army VR at a discounted rate of 10% below the usual $30 price on the Horizon Store for Quest 2 and above, the PlayStation Store for PSVR 2, and Steam for PC VR headsets.
