Following a comment on social media concerning the PC port of Spider-Man 2, where a user accused the studio of neglecting PS5 enthusiasts by withholding Wolverine information, Insomniac Games chose to respond. Though they typically avoid engaging with such critiques, their social media team decided to make an exception this time.
Their reply stressed, “News will come when we’re ready,” highlighting that sharing updates involves careful consideration of time, resources, and approval processes. Despite this patience-testing wait, Insomniac assures fans that Wolverine is actively in development.
Earlier in 2023, Insomniac faced a troubling ransomware attack that led to the leak of early Wolverine footage. While the incident was understandably upsetting for the team, they assured everyone it hadn’t affected the development timeline or plans for the game’s unveiling.
