Konami just dropped a big announcement: they’re setting up a Silent Hill transmission stream later this week to unveil Silent Hill f. This game reminds us that sometimes, it’s perfectly fine to let those capital letters take a break.
Recently, we’ve been treated to some Silent Hill gems, like the fantastic Silent Hill 2 Remake, thanks to the collaboration between Konami and Bloober Team. However, it’s been quite a stretch since we’ve seen a new main series entry. That’s where Silent Hill f comes in to fill the creepy void.
The Silent Hill transmission is scheduled for March 13 at 10 PM GMT. For our friends across the pond, that’s 3 PM PDT and 6 PM ET. We’ll update this story with a link to the livestream when it goes live, but it’s likely you’ll catch it on the official Silent Hill YouTube channel.
So, what’s in store for us? Konami mentioned, “This Transmission will uncover SILENT HILL f,” and the game’s director, Al Yang, teased by saying, “Excited to finally be able to share what we’ve been cooking.”
In case it slipped your mind, Silent Hill f was initially revealed during a Silent Hill transmission in 2022, alongside the aforementioned SH2 remake by Bloober. The project is being developed by Neobards Entertainment with a story penned by Ryukishi07, the mind behind the When They Cry visual novel series.
Our go-to Silent Hill expert, Kelsey, had some thoughts on that first teaser for Silent Hill f. It showcased a spooky flower hat and seemed “rather fascinating and stylized.” If you’re into spine-chilling experiences, this is definitely one showcase you won’t want to miss.
