A well-loved engineering puzzle experience is making its way to Quest this week, bringing with it a host of engaging bridge-building challenges available in both virtual and mixed reality modes.
Originally set for release last week, Bridge Constructor Studio is now arriving a bit later, scheduled to debut on December 12th. This intriguing bridge-building simulator offers players the chance to construct, test, and tweak their bridge designs using Quest in VR. Additionally, with the Quest 3, you’ll be able to unleash your creativity in mixed reality.
The game introduces 70 challenging puzzles within its campaign mode. You’ll be tasked with getting various vehicles across tricky terrains from point A to point B. To achieve this, you’ll need to master the use of different construction materials such as wood, steel, cables, concrete pillars, and roadways.
In contrast to the traditional flatscreen versions of Bridge Constructor and its popular competitor, Poly Bridge, this XR edition does away with budget restrictions and material limits right from the start. However, for those seeking an extra challenge, enabling these constraints will earn you a “special award,” according to the developers.
Beyond the campaign, Bridge Constructor Studio offers a Scenario Creation Mode, which allows you to customize and experiment with your own bridge-building scenarios. You can save up to 40 custom levels, broadening your player profile with unique challenges.
Crafted by ClockStone STUDIO, the same team behind the LEGO Bricktales XR adaptation and other editions of Bridge Constructor since its first release in 2011, this version is poised to capture the imagination of both new and returning players.
Launching exclusively on December 12th for the Quest 2 and Quest 3, Bridge Constructor Studio carries a price tag of $10. You can snag your copy through the Horizon Store.
