If you haven’t set up a Nintendo Account yet, it’s a great time to do so, and it’s completely free. Once you’re signed up, you’ll unlock access to the My Nintendo rewards program. This means you can earn points not just when you buy eligible digital games from the Nintendo eShop, but also when you use Nintendo apps on your smartphone or log into several Nintendo services, like the eShop itself.
Looking to buy some downloadable games? Head over to Nintendo’s official website for all the details. You’ll also find an amazing selection of downloadable content available at our Nintendo eShop site.
Before you make any purchases, please remember to check the Nintendo eShop or our game pages for the most up-to-date pricing.
To download demos from the Nintendo eShop on the Nintendo Switch, you’ll need to register a Nintendo Account. Make sure you read the terms and conditions.
If you’re interested in buying downloadable games or snagging demos and free software from the Nintendo eShop through our official website, there’s something important to note. Your Nintendo Account must be linked to your Nintendo Switch console, which should be set as the active console for downloads. Visit the eShop on the device you want to download onto at least once. For downloads to happen automatically, your system should be updated, connected to the internet, have automatic downloads enabled, and of course, have enough space to accommodate the download. Need more information? Check out our Support section for assistance. Keep in mind that any purchases or demo activations made through the Nintendo website are handled via the Nintendo eShop.
