In their official announcement on Xbox Wire, the company detailed how this compact mode allows players quick and seamless access to widgets and streamlined navigation. PC users can now toggle between widgets using the RB and LB buttons on Xbox controllers, making it even more user-friendly. To top it off, Xbox has introduced support for virtual keyboards, further broadening the accessibility of their platform.

With the new management features, organizing your game library has never been easier. Players can now download and install all game add-ons simultaneously, making it a breeze to manage DLCs. Simply right-click on any game in your library, choose “Manage,” and head over to the new “Add-ons” section to take advantage of this.
### The Xbox Mobile App
In an effort to unify their platform experience, Xbox is extending features from its PC app to the mobile version. Initially, these mobile app updates will be available to Xbox members, with a broader rollout planned soon. In a noteworthy change, the company mentioned it will end new downloads of the Xbox Game Pass app in November, as these upgrades continue.
One of the main attractions of the Xbox App on mobile is that it allows users to manage their membership and explore their game library effortlessly. Furthermore, those on the Ultimate tier of Game Pass can access and redeem perks directly from their mobile devices. Ultimate members can also stream select games via Xbox Cloud Gaming on iOS or Android devices, which require a supported browser.
The app boasts features such as sharing game clips and screenshots, comparing gaming achievements, engaging in video calls during gameplay, and more. Additionally, the capability to remotely install games on your console rounds out the robust offerings of the app.

Xbox has also introduced a convenient pre-download feature, allowing players to start enjoying game updates the moment they go live. Plus, with wish list notifications, you’ll receive an alert on your console as soon as a game you’ve been eyeing becomes available.
