Live-Action Zelda Film Set to Release on March 26, 2027 – Announcement

It looks like Nintendo has a penchant for releasing movies right around the end of March and start of April. Just today, they revealed that their upcoming Legend of Zelda film will hit theaters on March 26, 2027. This date aligns neatly with their previous strategy, as we saw with the Super Mario Bros. animated flick debuting in early April 2023, and its follow-up expected in April next year.

As for the Legend of Zelda project, it’s a collaboration with Sony Pictures, but they’re keeping the cast under wraps for now. Fans are eagerly awaiting more details, and it’s safe to say that the anticipation is building for what’s sure to be another exciting venture into the world of video game adaptations.
