I have to completely disagree with you, @LadyCharlie. Spoiling someone’s experience is never a good move. Just because someone was born at a different time or missed out on something when it was new doesn’t mean it’s fair to ruin that experience for them. Everyone should get the chance to enjoy something for the first time, unspoiled. That initial thrill is something unique and irreplaceable, and everyone deserves to have that moment.
The idea is to give everyone an equal opportunity to experience things without any preconceived bias or influence. This not only preserves the authenticity but also ensures that their perception and understanding are genuinely their own, unaffected by spoilers or external opinions. It’s about respecting each individual’s right to approach media fresh, allowing them to savor that first-time wonder without hindrance.
