Microsoft has just revealed that Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled is making its way to Xbox Game Pass soon, and we won’t have to wait long. Mark your calendars, as this beloved Xbox arcade racing game speeds onto the service on December 4, 2024. If you still haven’t tackled the Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled achievements, now’s the ideal time to jump in and start unlocking them.
In a recent post on X from the official Crash Bandicoot account, it was confirmed that Crash Team Racing – Nitro-Fueled will be available on Xbox Game Pass starting December 4. We’re still waiting to get the details on which subscription tiers will feature it, but considering the game’s release history, it’s likely to pop up in both the Xbox Game Pass Standard and Ultimate libraries. Additionally, since we’ve noticed Microsoft’s efforts to bring the game to the Microsoft Store on PC, there’s a good shot it will make an appearance in the PC Game Pass library alongside the console versions.
For those who might not be familiar, Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled hit Xbox One back in 2019 as a complete remaster of the iconic 1999 PS1 game, Crash Team Racing. This version also includes revamped content from Crash Tag Team Racing and Crash Nitro Kart. Think of it as an arcade racer in the style of Mario Kart, where you can zoom around zany tracks packed with power-ups and weapons, all while playing as your favorite Crash Bandicoot characters.
There was an interesting sighting this week with Xbox Game Pass adverts showing Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time. However, clicking them redirected players to the page for Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy. Microsoft hasn’t officially announced the fourth game’s arrival on Game Pass yet, so we might hear more about it soon. Or maybe it was all just a slip-up, and the ads were actually meant for Crash Team Racing!
Regardless of the mix-up, we can all look forward to racing as Crash and his friends starting December 4.
