Last week, the anticipation for Monster Hunter Wilds was palpable as it secured its spot as the third best-selling pre-order on Steam. As we edge closer to its release on February 28th, it’s clear that excitement is brewing for this fresh installment in Capcom’s ever-popular action RPG series. It’s worth recalling that after the 2019 launch of Monster Hunter World, the PC version emerged as the second highest-performing platform, a testament to the series’ robust fan base.
In other chart-topping news, Counter-Strike 2 climbed to the top once again, reclaiming No.1, and Civilization 7 wasn’t far behind. It initially entered the charts at third place with its February 10th arrival, but given the minimal data from just one day, its strong performance is more impressive than it looks. Meanwhile, Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 slipped to fourth yet still celebrated a milestone of two million sales. Apex Legends made a significant leap, jumping 22 spots to secure fifth place, thanks in part to the debut of new seasonal content.
The standings also saw Valve’s Steam Deck, PUBG: Battlegrounds, and Marvel Rivals each drop a notch, settling into sixth, seventh, and eighth places, respectively. Meanwhile, Avowed, the new RPG from Obsidian, made its first appearance at ninth. Warframe found its way back into the Top Ten, climbing two positions.
Here’s a look at the Steam Top Ten for the week ending February 18th:
1. Counter-Strike 2, Valve
