ASRock’s new Radeon RX 9070 series graphics cards have made an online debut, offering fans a glimpse of the anticipated Steel Legend and Taichi models.
Ahead of their official release, ASRock’s custom RX 9070 GPU lineups are already creating a buzz, showcasing some sleek designs. With AMD’s RDNA 4 architecture at the core, the RX 9070 and RX 9070 XT are poised to make a splash. While other AIB partners have yet to release images, ASRock has unveiled three distinct variants: Steel Legend, Taichi, and Challenger.
The Taichi series stands out as ASRock’s flagship model. It features an elegant triple-fan design and a robust heatsink, making it a substantial three-slot card. What’s particularly intriguing about the Taichi version is its 12V-2×6 power connector. Unlike all models, which don’t feature this specification, this connector can deliver up to 600W of power, underscoring the Taichi’s impressive specs and overclocking potential.
Moving on, the Steel Legend variant is positioned as a mid-range option from ASRock, sporting a stylish white and silver color scheme. This card uses a 2.5-slot triple fan design but swaps the 12V-2×6 connector for a more common 2x 8-pin connector, which aligns with AMD’s standard offerings for most AIB models, except for high-end ones like the Taichi.
When it comes to availability, rumors are circulating that AMD will start taking pre-orders for the RX 9070 series next week, so enthusiasts might not have to wait too long to see these graphics cards hit the shelves.
