Fireproof Games has launched their newest virtual reality game, “Ghost Town,” following the success of “The Room: A Dark Matter,” known for its excellent VR puzzles. This time, the game has landed on Quest 2 and Quest 3 headsets, with plans to release on PC VR and PSVR 2 later in the year.
Departing from their well-known “The Room” series, Fireproof Games maintains its signature focus on puzzle-solving and storytelling. Although it draws on supernatural elements, the game leans more towards creating an atmosphere of suspense and mystery rather than full-on horror.
Having spent nearly four years in development, “Ghost Town” marks a major leap forward for the studio. It features a cast of characters brought to life with full motion capture, adding depth to the experience. The game’s graphics have already garnered plenty of positive feedback, offering impressive visuals even on the Quest headsets, all set against the backdrop of 1980s London.
While details on the PC VR and PSVR 2 release dates are still under wraps, fans can dive into “Ghost Town” now on Quest 2 and Quest 3 at a price of $30.
