Combat Waffle, the team behind the popular Ghosts of Tabor, is gearing up to introduce gamers to Silent North, their latest virtual reality shooter. This next big adventure promises a thrilling experience of multiplayer zombie survival, set to be available in early access on Quest and Steam this coming March.
Brought to you by Beyond Frames Entertainment, Silent North transports players to the stunning yet perilous peaks of the Swiss Alps. In this setting, not only do you face an endless wave of zombies, but you must also navigate the danger posed by other players who, much like yourself, are intent on looting and survival at all costs.
In this immersive world, you have the choice to either team up with other players or strike out on your own. The goal is to scavenge for critical supplies while fending off a relentless onslaught of the undead. The developers have crafted an environment brimming with PVPVE action, ensuring no player can avoid confrontation with either the infected or rival survivors. Whether you’re traversing mountain trails or exploring open plains, expect heart-pounding firefights as you strive to outlast both the living and the dead. But be cautious—unseen threats lie in wait, with other players potentially ready to ambush.
Silent North is currently accepting pre-orders on the Horizon Store at a price of $17, offering an enticing 15% discount from the standard $20 price at launch. Meanwhile, on Steam, you can now add the game to your wishlist, with a similar discount awaiting early adopters.
The team plans to release Silent North in early access by March on both Steam and the Horizon Store. However, there’s no word yet on when it will become available on additional VR platforms such as the PSVR 2 and Pico headsets.
Just as a quick update as of February 21st, 2024, while the launch is slated for March, the exact date has not yet been finalized. Stay tuned for further announcements as anticipation builds for this exciting new entry in VR gaming.
