Warhorse Studios is getting fans up to speed with a story recap of Kingdom Come: Deliverance, just in time for the sequel’s release next week. If you’re eagerly awaiting the launch of Kingdom Come: Deliverance II and need a refresher on all the medieval chaos, now’s the perfect opportunity to dive back into one of Xbox’s finest RPGs.
With the sequel set to hit shelves on February 4, 2025, Warhorse Studios is gearing up for its release on Xbox Series X|S, PC, and PlayStation 5. The first game offered a stellar RPG experience and given its deep dive into the political and military turbulence of 15th-century Bohemia, a story recap is just what we need right now.
Our main character, Henry, starts out as the son of a blacksmith in Skalitz, but his life is thrown into turmoil. His journey for vengeance introduces him to important historical figures and pivotal events of his era. His path is no walk in the park though, and the game’s detailed RPG mechanics mean Henry must learn to fight, read, and generally stay alive in a harsh world.
Before Kingdom Come: Deliverance came along, not many of us were wrapped up in discussions about 15th-century Bohemia. If that’s your passion, my apologies for assuming otherwise! However, the game certainly changed the conversation for many, even though we all enjoy a good laugh about King Wenceslas IV’s antics. A recap of Henry’s first adventure can only help refresh our memory.
