It was the night before the update, and everything was just right. Gamers were busy, staying up late with their Xbox consoles, immersed in their gaming adventures. Then, unexpectedly, a little pop-up appeared on their screens: a new system update was ready to roll out. What a delightful surprise!
This update loaded a bunch of fixes and introduced some fresh features. Not long after the download wrapped up, players were back to battling their in-game foes with renewed vigor.
Hey Insiders, buckle up for a brief but festive update from our community! First off, we’re sending you the warmest holiday wishes and hoping for a safe and joyful New Year. While I’m personally not too fond of the cold and shorter days, that hasn’t stopped us from embracing the season here in the Northern Hemisphere. With the early sunsets and chilly air comes the perfect excuse for some snug sweater weather and plenty of reasons to huddle indoors with your Xbox.
Just like in previous years, we’ve put a pause on new preview builds for both console and PC to guarantee everyone enjoys a stable Xbox experience during the holidays. But rest assured, our team is working diligently on future releases! We’re continuously reviewing your feedback and ready to tackle any issues that crop up. Make sure to keep an eye on the Insider Hub for fresh content throughout December and January!

Jon: Aiming to wrap up "Indiana Jones and the Great Circle" and explore the "Ode to Castlevania" DLC for "Vampire Survivors."

Joshua: Can’t wait to dive into classic holiday movies once again while getting deeply into "Indiana Jones and the Great Circle."

Tim: In the mood for a challenge with "Nine Sols." I’m also looking forward to spending meaningful time with family flying in for the holidays.

Donovan: Eager to dive into "Path of Exile 2," relish time with family, and indulge in nostalgic Christmas films to capture that holiday spirit.

Sally: Planning to munch on lots of cookies, indulge in cozy games, and hope for new "PowerWash Simulator" DLC. And of course, cherish moments with family and friends.
- Leland: Every year, I dive into my two favorite story games during a week of absolute isolation in mid-December, where my only connection to the outside world is excellent Wi-Fi. It’s my most anticipated time of the year!
As for me, I’ve finally conquered the Black Ops 6 camo challenge, so I can actually enjoy the game now! I’m also gearing up to complete the achievements in "Aliens: Dark Descent" and brace myself against Jack Frost’s attempts to freeze my geese’s pond once more.
