Update as of December 13th: We’re thrilled to announce that, following a successful testing phase, the Support Virtual Agent is now available to all gamers in the United States. A heartfelt thank you goes out to our Xbox Insiders for their invaluable feedback that helped shape this exciting feature.
The Support Virtual Agent is driven by AI and is designed to assist Xbox players in efficiently tackling their support-related gaming queries. Select Xbox Insiders can now access this feature at support.xbox.com. If you’re in the U.S. and primarily use English, you’re all set to test out the Support Virtual Agent. Just hop onto support.xbox.com using an account registered with the Xbox Insider Program to start exploring today.
Feedback from our Xbox Insiders is crucial, and any insights shared will be instrumental in refining the Support Virtual Agent. When interacting with the agent, you can easily share your thoughts by clicking the “thumbs up” or “thumbs down” on responses or providing feedback directly via the “Give feedback” option at the bottom of the page.
How to Use Support Virtual Agent
From today onwards, Xbox Insiders will notice the Support Virtual Agent on the “Contact Us” page on support.xbox.com. Log in using the account linked to your Xbox Insider registration, and you’ll find an option to engage with our new Support Virtual Agent.
By selecting “Ask a question,” a new browser window will launch the Support Virtual Agent. You can query the agent via text or voice input, receiving responses filled with pertinent information sourced from support.xbox.com. Should the virtual agent be unable to resolve your issue, you can opt to connect with a live support representative, as long as it’s during Xbox Support’s regular operating hours.
In this preview phase, you can also tweak your support experience by choosing between two different Support Virtual Agents, which can be done by clicking on the menu icon.
