The folks over at Digital Foundry have just released an in-depth video review of their experience with Stellar Blade on the PS5 Pro, and let’s just say, they walked away pretty impressed. In fact, they’re calling it “one of the best upgrades we’ve seen.”

In their words, it’s a shining example of how PSSR should be implemented, alongside the game’s noticeably enhanced performance. Up until now, many games have struggled with PSSR, but Shift Up has set the bar with Stellar Blade. They’ve managed to create a stunningly beautiful game that now looks and runs even better than before. The timing couldn’t be more perfect, as a new update has just been released post-Pro patch, featuring additional elements along with a special crossover event between Stellar Blade and Nier Automata.
