You probably already know that Bloodborne is often hailed as one of the top contenders among Souls games out there. Its gritty atmosphere and chilling enemies evoke a sense of horror straight out of an H.P. Lovecraft story, captivating fans. However, what leaves players disgruntled is the game’s inability to provide a smooth gaming experience with a stable frame rate.
Even Ben Starr, the acclaimed actor from Final Fantasy 16 known for his role as Clive Rosfield, has joined the chorus of voices yearning for the return of this classic 2015 PlayStation 4 exclusive. Highlighted by GermanStrands on Twitter, Starr remarked at the Golden Joystick Awards that having no official version of Bloodborne running at 60 frames per second is nothing short of “criminal.”
Despite this high-profile endorsement, it seems unlikely that Sony will take action. Fans have been eagerly requesting a revamped version from both Sony and FromSoftware for years. Yet, without Sony’s green light, FromSoftware can’t proceed with developing a new version, even though they’re fully aware of the public demand for it.
